There is no soap like Handmade.
Our first experience in a handmade soap shop titillated our senses and had us sniffing every bar to narrow down our choices.
Arriving at the register with approximately 10 small bars in our arms, we were a bit shocked by the total bill. The friendly lady at the counter asked me, “Have you tried our soaps before?”
We answered, “No.”
“Oh, you’ll be back,” she said.
She was right. When the favorite—their Detox Soap with activated charcoal had shrunken to a fine sliver—we HAD to go get more. Imagine driving 45 minutes to a soap shop just to buy a few bars of soap!
That’s when we became curious about what made the soap so special. That’s when we began researching the handmade soap process. And, we learned that not only what is in the bars, but also what is NOT in the bars, makes all the difference.
Two years later, KiShuri soaps, made with only pure ingredients, as well as love and care, were born.
